STRATUS (Simulation, Training, Research and Technology Utilization System) brings together state-of-the-art medical simulation technologies supported by innovative curricula, customized educational methodologies and multidisciplinary research. And as a leading simulation center with global experience and comprehensive resources, we are also user-friendly and flexible.

Through the employment of a unique operational model, educators and learners at STRATUS do not have to be experts in medical simulation to realize the benefits of enhanced learning and improved patient safety. We work with you to develop your own curriculum and then implement it – taking your goals and objectives and developing strategies to use a variety of simulation technologies to meet them – bringing learning to life.

By partnering with STRATUS to develop and implement a comprehensive medical simulation program, your institution benefits from the experience and backing of the education center of a world-class hospital, BWH, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Nearly all Brigham and Women’s Hospital trainees undergo training at STRATUS – and the Center’s expertise also extends well beyond the hospital’s doors. STRATUS provides training for doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, EMS/Public safety providers and others – from local and regional police and fire departments, to medical centers around the globe. In addition, STRATUS works with medical facilities to develop their own state-of-the-art medical simulation centers through our customized collaborations.
